February is American Hearth month and is dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease and increasing knowledge about prevention for all ages. This Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red Day to show support for women’s heart health. Heart disease is said to be the #1 cause of death in women. Visit The American Heart Association website for resources on nutrition, staying active, weight and stress management, and how to quit smoking. You can also visit goredforwomen.org to find out how to get involved and create awareness of hearth disease.
